The Grand Prix in Schenley Park
Schenley Park is the scene of the nation's largest vintage race event. Each July over 175 vintage racers gather to test their skills and entertain the crowd. Racing through Schenley Park is considered by many drivers the most challenging race course worldwide. The best place to watch the races is from Bob O'Connor Golf Course where the Grand Prix stages an international Car Show with over 2,000 vehicles on display. Saturday, July 19 is British Car Day featuring over 500 of England's best sport and luxury automobiles. Vintage Track Rides are offered on a limited basis for spectators to experience a real lap of the Schenley Park race track in an authentic vintage race car driven by a certified racer. Visit the website's schedule of events for more information about the weekend activities.
