Camelback Mountain’s Treetop Adventures
Camelback Mountain is a great spot for enjoying the natural beauty of the Poconos--and the terrifying things within them. This Halloween season, visit Camelback Mountain for some of the scariest fall attractions in the region. Glide through the moonlit forest after dark on Pennsylvania’s only mountain roller coaster or zip down the double barrel lines by only torchlight before attending a mystical group seance. Don’t forget about the wildly popular haunted attraction experience called Kartrite’s Curse!
Kartrite’s Kurse features a trilogy of haunted adventures. The first is made up of seventeen rooms where you’ll have to evade zombies, mummies, and a fifteen-foot tall bear before taking a spinning time warp into the Pit. The Pit is a deep underground hole leading to a ghost town where skeletons, pirates, and creatures await in the dark. You’ll find a brief respite at Kartrite’s campsite before the third house, Pocono Point. Explore the Poconos like you never have before but make sure you catch the train out; you wouldn’t want to be left behind at these haunted houses! If the scary stuff isn’t your thing, there’s still plenty to do. A day in the trees on the obstacle courses of Camelback Mountain is a challenging, fun, and rewarding activity with friends and family that allows you to discover the beauty of the Poconos. Get harnessed up on a full treetops course, containing over 100 aerial obstacles, vertical rope ladders, high-wires, wobbly logs, swaying bridges, and, of course, zip lines! You can also race another person on the new Pocono Pipeline Mountain Slide or fly down from the summit on the 4000’ twin zip flyer, the longest and fastest zip line in North America.
