Pennsbury Manor Celebrating 75 Years...

The estate of Pennsylvania's founder, William Penn is the historic Pennsbury Manor located in Morrisville, PA. William Penn knew what he wanted "a country life and estate I like best for my children." Today his recreated 17th century estate (1939-2014) sits on 43 acres along the Delaware River. Take a guided tour and experience colonial life at Penn's country home. Learn about one of America's most famous Quakers. Watch colonial craft demonstrations and experience daily life as it existed 300 years ago.

The Holy Experiment: Violet Oakley Mural Studies Exhibit will be on display through the end of the year. The exhibit showcases thirteen original oil on canvas studies for murals commissioned in 1902 to decorate the Governor's Reception room located in the Pennsylvania Capitol. Enjoy crackling bonfires, carolers, craft demonstration, and candlelit tours of the Manor on Holly Nights - December 4 and 5. A truly memorable evening.
