Historic Wrightsville Walking Tour
Visit historic Wrightsville during the weekend of June 29 & 30, by participating in this ticketed event. Tour sites made famous by the people who lived on the banks of the Susquehanna River through the Civil War. See churches that survived the ravages of war and eavesdrop on the personal dreams and thoughts of folks as recorded in their diaries. If you look hard enough you may see soldiers camped along the river, hear songs as they sit around their campfires, and share their rations. And if you listen closely, you may hear some citizens plot their schemes to burn the bridge and save the Union. Who knows? You may even see Mr. Lincoln and hear him speak!
