29th Annual Mushroom Festival
Event Details
The Mushroom Festival is a celebration of all things mushroom, Southern Chester County, and fun. From a community parade to an old fashioned carnival, cooking demonstrations and competitions, crafts and food, live music and so much more, the streets of Kennett Square will be filled with activity throughout the Festival. Enjoy favorite events: the Grower's Exhibit, Mushroom Farm Tours, the Culinary Tent, music on the Community Stage, plus hundreds of vendors are all part of our annual celebration of the mushroom. The National Fried Mushroom Eating Championship is on Saturday in the Special Events tent as competitors challenge last year's world record of devouring 5.5 pounds of breaded, fried mushrooms in eight minutes. Festival hours: Saturday 10:00am-7:00pm and Sunday 10:00am-5:00pm.
