Celebrating 70 Years of Christmas - Koziars Christmas Village
Named the “Best Outdoor Christmas Display in the World” by Display Magazine, the Koziar’s Christmas Village near Bernville, Pennsylvania has been displaying its stunning Christmas lights for sixty-eight years. Still a family-operated attraction by the Koziar daughters, this light show features over 500,000 lights illuminating the Koziar farm’s house, barn, and lakefront. In 1948, William Koziar started decorating his house for the holiday. It quickly became a local attraction known as “The Christmas House” but was started for the family’s own enjoyment. Due to the popularity and joy it brought during the season, William started decorating the rest of his property and it has since become a world-famous display and one of the top travel attractions in Pennsylvania and the United States. Most famous for its breathtaking first glimpse, the Christmas Village also includes a variety of displays such as scenes from the Nativity, A Christmas Carol, and the Nutcracker. Head to the “Kissing Bridge” for a romantic spot known for its marriage proposals and weddings.
Visit Koziar’s Christmas Village website for information about the attraction, view a photo slideshow, and learn about the family’s history. The Christmas Village is also open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Tickets for adults are $10.00 and $9.00 for seniors. Enjoy free parking and Merry Christmas!
