Named one of the best auto museums in the world by AutoWeek, the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum always has something new and different to see! The AACA Museum displays original and restored cars, trucks, buses and motorcycles in a unique and themed setting. Stroll through three levels of vehicles and memorabilia as you enjoy a trip down memory lane.
Have you ever seen a 12 ft. tall Hershey’s Kiss? You can at the AACA Museum in Hershey! The Hershey’s Kissmobile cruiser is a 12-foot tall, 26-foot long custom-made vehicle resembling three Hershey’s Kisses. Since the creation of Hershey’s Kissmobile in 1997, the cruiser has traveled over 250,000 miles and sampled over 2,000,000 Hershey’s Kisses Brand Milk Chocolates. Two must see events are:
June 9-11, 2017: The Elegance and Grand Ascent at Hershey - held at the Hotel Hershey, the weekend offers The Grand Ascent Vintage Race and The Elegance. The Grand Ascent is a Vintage Sports Car Club of America sanctioned hill climb exhibition in the European tradition. The course is the old back road to The Hershey Hotel and just .7 of a mile in length with a 200 feet elevation change and some serious curves, it is a challenging race course. Drivers pilot some of the finest vintage race cars. Come and be part of the excitement as race cars storm up the hill to test the mettle of the driver and the machine. On Saturday, June 13, the Noon fundraiser is a ride up the hill in a vintage race car (early registration suggested day of - limited rides available). The highlight of the weekend is, The Elegance, an automotive garden party featuring more than 60 of the world's finest collector vintage and antique cars from all eras displayed through the manicured formal gardens of The Hotel Hershey.
October 4-7, 2017: Eastern Division National Fall Meet in Hershey - held in the parking areas around the Giant Center and HERSHEYPARK, this Fall Meet is the largest flea market and show in the world. Four days of events include: Flea Market vendors, thousands of antique cars some for display and some for sale in the car corral. Some of the most unusual cars and parts can be found at Hershey. If you love antique cars, this is the ultimate car show!
