McMullen House Bed & Breakfast LLC
Named after Celia McMullen, who was the first businesswoman of Titusville, this stately Italianate villa built in 1870 features three historic-themed guest rooms (Drake, Tarbell, and Lake Erie Cottage), each with a private bath. The unique house reflects the gracious lifestyle of the oil boom period. Guests enjoy a hot, French-inspired breakfast in the spacious dining room. The cozy library offers a place to relax with coffee and conversation, while the formal parlor has period furniture. Special amenities include afternoon tea, a lantern tour, and Monet Garden (a work in progress). Titusville is where the modern oil industry began. The nearby Drake Well Museum and scenic Oil Creek State Park interpret the story of “Colonel” Edwin Drake, who successfully drilled the world’s first oil well in 1859, to the subsequent boom towns and petroleum industry.
